Volunteers are the lifeblood of any organization – and St. John’s is no exception! The donation of your time and talent is always welcome and very much appreciated. Please see the individual ministry pages of this website for more information on what each group does for the parish and the community.

All adult volunteers (age 18 and older) must register with our online volunteer registry service, Virtus Online.  In addition to the required policy documents for all volunteers, adults who plan to volunteer with minors are also required to submit a background screening and references and must also complete online training in order to be eligible to work with minors. The background screening and training must be renewed every five years.

Volunteers aged 14-17 must complete an application for volunteer service, provide references, and complete Worthy of the Call training. Please contact Colleen Sisolak , Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry for more information.

Volunteers under the age of 14 do not have to complete anything.
