The Mental Health epidemic is noticeably all around us. Chances are you or someone you love struggles with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addiction, or another mental health challenge. We are aware of the hurt, but not how to help. This could change!
Mental Health First Aid is a one-day, in-person training, along with approximately 2 hours of pre-work and 1 hour of post-work to train you in how to identify, address, and assist those experiencing a mental health crisis. Just as CPR certification does not certify you as a cardiologist, neither will MHFA certify you as a therapist, yet CPR and MHFA can save lives!!!
St. John will be hosting 2 training days:
Saturday, August 13 from 9 AM-3 PM
Saturday, September 10 from 9 AM-3 PM
Please sign up HERE or call the parish to register.
