FORMED -  A Spiritual Resource for Everyone!

Are you looking for something to develop your spiritual life that’s convenient, easy to use, and available when you are? Then FORMED is for you! 

FORMED has over 4,000 titles of series, movies, and brief videos that are all ready for you to watch when you have the time from the comfort of your home.  It’s easy to sign-up, and there is no cost to you! St. John Parish has a subscription available for our parishioners to use. See below for sign-up instructions.

For Lent, we are suggesting several titles that will help you in your spiritual preparation for Easter: 

• Forgiveness – Three 30-minute videos that speak of God’s mercy and forgiveness and the Sacrament of Reconciliation
• Presence – Three 30-minute videos that speak of the importance of the Eucharist in the life of a Catholic
• Into His Likeness – Six 30-minute videos about how to grow as a disciple and truly grow into the likeness of Jesus Christ

Watch all three or just one or another offering on FORMED during Lent as you prepare for the glorious celebration of Easter.

How to Sign Up

Here are the instructions to sign up for  formed.org:

1. Click "Sign up"
2. Click "Sign up as a parishioner"
3. Search using "St. John Hydes" or zip “21082” and click "St. John 13305 Long Green Pike, Hydes, MD"
4. Type your name and email address 
5. Go to email, open message from formed.org then click "Sign in Now"

There are 3 easy steps to download the FORMED App.
1. Visit the App Store or Google Play Store(search: FORMED Catholic)
2. Download the app to your device (Note, you will need to register at formed.org/signup before logging in to app)
