What conversion of mind, heart, and life is the Lord asking of me?
My children, I will be with you only a little while longer. When have I felt that God is far away from me? When have I felt that God is near?
I give you a new commandment: love one another. Who is most in need of my love this week? Who is it challenging for me to love?
This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. How do I respond to others in faith? How can I put my faith in action more effectively?

Volunteer Spots Still Open for Spring Fling
All Adults Must Be in the Virtus Volunteer Registry
There are still some open spots in need of volunteers for this weekend. Please sign up by clicking the button below. Also, be sure you are registered to volunteer at the parish through Virtus.
Note: ALL adult volunteers must complete the basic registration and review of policies and scenarios at www.virtusonline.org, regardless of whether you're volunteering alongside other adults or minors.
Those planning to volunteer alongside minors must register, and in addition, complete an online background screening and online training and provide references. If you’re unsure of your registration status, contact Virtus Coordinator Jennifer Ehrlich at ehrlichje@sjehydes.org or 410-592-6206, ext. 104.
Minors 14-17 years old wishing to volunteer should contact Colleen Sisolak at youthministry@sjehydes.org to be sure a youth volunteer application is on file and that they only serve in an area with Virtus-certified adults (currently only as "floaters" assisting the chairperson).
Saturday The Spring Fling amusement rides will still be in place for Saturday evening's 5 PM Mass, so parking on Saturday will be limited to:
Parking spots to the left of the chapel
Parking spots near the parish office
Parking spots in front of the school
In the grass at the top of the cemetery hill
Volunteers will be on hand to assist with drop-off on Saturday.
Sunday The rides will be broken down on Saturday night after the Spring Fling and should be out of the way on the main lots for Sunday Mass parking.
