What conversion of mind, heart, and life is the Lord asking of me?
He was a righteous man, yet unwilling to expose her to shame. When have my actions shamed and hurt people rather than supported them? Who in my life is in need of extra care these days?
Such was his intention when, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream.
How have I heard God speaking to me? How have I responded to God’s voice?
“God is with us.” When have I felt God’s presence most strongly? How can I become more aware of God’s presence in my life?

Please keep students taking exams in the coming weeks in your prayers.
Lord Jesus,
You know that these students are very anxious about their tests and exams that they have to face very soon.
We ask that You would calm their anxious, clouded thoughts.
Please calm their nerves, and let them rest in You always.
We pray that as they enter their exams, You will fill their hearts with perfect peace that only comes from You.
Please also give them clarity of thought, and prompt their minds to remember all the things that they have studied.
Give them the wisdom and the ability to transfer their thoughts to paper.
It’s in Your precious name we pray,
Amen.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Food Pantry
We would like to send out a very big Christmas season “Thank you” to everyone who brought donations for St. Elizabeth of Hungary’s Food Pantry last Sunday. Our collection was just incredible! We had 3 cars and one truck loaded! Along with all of the generous food donations from so many of our parishioners – we also received numerous small toys/board games for the Food Pantry to include in their distribution at Christmastime. A VERY BIG THANK YOU goes out to a multigenerational St. John School and Parish family who donated an exceptionally generous amount of supplies! Grant money from Telephone Pioneers was once again used to donate
coats, scarves, gloves and hats. The Knights of Columbus also donated a chest freezer to the Pantry so they will now have the ability to store frozen items. Thank you to everyone! Our friends at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Food Pantry send their love
and appreciation to all of you and wish you all a very Merry Christmas!! One of the Food Pantry volunteers posted the following on Facebook – “My Christmas wish is that all of you and all those who donated are healthy, happy, and safe. I hope you all know how very blessed not only I feel, but all of us who volunteer at the St. Elizabeth’s Food Pantry. God bless you all.”
Our next Food Collection will be on Sunday, February 12, 2023.
