St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church was established in 1822 and is the oldest Catholic parish in Baltimore County, Maryland. We joyously announce our Bicentennial Celebration Year, culminating in our Bicentennial Gala in May 2022!

We are preparing a Bicentennial Commemorative Book to capture in color and picturesque narrative all celebrations of the upcoming year. This hardcover book will highlight both St. John Church and School and will be cherished by generations to come as a remembrance of a noteworthy year.

We invite you, as part of our greater St. John the Evangelist family, to join our celebration by expressing your congratulations and gratitude for St. John’s in this publication. Your timeless messages will offset expenses of Bicentennial events. Our goal is for 100% parishioner participation. There is a level for every budget, from a full-page message including pictures or artwork to a single line greeting.

The Bicentennial Commemorative Book will be published after our Bicentennial Gala Celebration in May 2022. Sponsorship opportunities are described on the enclosed response form.
